2016 Jaguar F-Pace SUV, Review

The F-Pace, Jaguar’s first-ever SUV, was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. By combining the performance of a traditional Jaguar with more room and family friendly features, the luxury 2016 Jaguar F-Pace will soon ‘hit’ the market and amaze its potential customers. Even though this SUV will retain much of the character of the original C-X17 Concept, it will also embrace the visual cues from the F-Type and the XE Sedan.

2016 Jaguar F-Pace – New Design

Luxury, powerful and impressive, the new car will be built mainly out of aluminum, in order to be lighter. The luxurious feel of this car will be defined by a range of contemporary trim options, which will be available for the SUV. Depending on the trim, the customers will have the opportunity to choose from authentic metal finishes to more crafted veneers. The sweeping lines of its largely aluminum body will be highlighted by an upright aero-friendly grille, as well as short overhangs and sleek lighting units.
The cabin will be modern and able to accommodate up to five passengers. The leather sports seats will be very comfortable, with 14 different adjustment positions, which will be equipped with heating and cooling functions. Moreover, the car will feature an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system, which will come standard on all models. It will handle entertainment and vehicle settings, as well as navigation duties. 2016 Jaguar F-Pace – Engine and Specs

The attractive 2016 Jaguar F-Pace will be available in the market with 3 engine options. The 3.0 liter, which has already been used in the F-type, which will be able to generate 300 hp and a massive of 70 lb-ft of torque. Jaguar’s offering two output variants for this engine, starting at 340 hp for the base model and 380 hp for the F-Pace S. Later in 2016, the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder diesel engine will arrive in the U.S., which will be packed with 180 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. All engine variants will be mated to an 8-speed transmission system, that will send power to all four wheels. The performance numbers of this SUV will vary, depending on the engine. The 180 hp diesel will be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 8.1 seconds and its top speed will reach at 129 mph. The two supercharged V6 variants will be able to sprint from 0-60 mph in 5.3 and 5.1 seconds respectively, with top speeds of 155 mph.

The price of this SUV will start at $41,895 for the 2.0-liter turbodiesel, $43,385 for the 340 hp supercharged V6 and $57,695 for the versions with the 380 hp supercharged V6 engine. The new 2016 Jaguar F-Pace SUV will be revealed in the market the last months of 2016.
