2016 Infiniti QX80 Changes

Since its launch, Infiniti QX80 has been getting serious modifications that have turned it into a valuable full-size SUV. The car was unveiled with the name QX56, and it didn’t have a lot to offer to customers. But with major updates afterwards, the car is one of the most popular SUVs today. If you love QX80, be ready to welcome a new model. Infiniti is in the process of releasing 2016 Infiniti QX80.

2016 Infiniti QX80 – Exterior and Interior Design:

The outgoing model came with a lot of parking problems due to its bulky body. We are thus anticipating for slightly reduced dimensions in the upcoming QX80. Do not wait to see the current conventional boxy shape: some angular lines will be included to alter this shape and make the car somehow sleek.

Comparing 2016 Infiniti QX80 with its predecessor, you will notice that a considerable redesign job has been done in the front side. Headlights, fog lights, bumper and grill have been refined. You will also notice some changes in the wheels and roof. Now we have larger wheels and a flat roof. Rear side hasn’t been left behind when it comes to the redesign job. Modern taillights and a large tailgate have been added to this side. The modification job is minimal in the interior of 2016 Infiniti QX80. Number of seats remains the same as well as their arrangement. However, the seats will come with heaters and there will be a lot of space around them. The entire interior looks beautiful with a handsome combination of leather, wood and leather trim.

Turning to the technology part of the car, we will be waiting to see an updated infotainment system with many capabilities. Some tech systems that we should expect include: tri-zone climate control, engine push button, navigation, moon roof, monitor screens, Bose stereo, Smartphone integration, Bluetooth and USB ports.

On the side of safety and security, we will be happy to see 2016 Infiniti QX80 come with things such as airbags, rearview camera, lane departure system, anti-lock brake system, blind-spot monitoring system, adaptive cruise control, cross-traffic alerts and collision warning system.

2016 Infiniti QX80 – Engine Options:

Do not expect the new Infiniti SUV to come with many engine options. Only one engine will be available, and this will be a 5.7-liter V8 rated 400 hp, 413 lb-ft. A 7-speed automatic transmission will be connected to the engine to transfer power to the rear wheels or all wheels, depending on your drivetrain choice.

The car will attain 60 mph from the 0 mark in 7 seconds. Concerning fuel economy, expect the following fuel consumption ratings: 14 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. We are also looking forward to a car that will pollute the environment less by giving out lesser emissions.
