2016 Honda Pilot Price, Release Date

The improvements and adjustments made to the 2016 Honda Pilot make it a strong contender in the crossover class due to its combination of passenger utility and comfort. The 2016 model comes in all new design, soft corners, tons of safety features, a rewarding driving experience, up to date infotainment features, more enticing useful interior and above all its new Elite trim. The 2016 Honda Pilot is available in five trim levels, the base model being LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and the Elite trim.

2016 Honda Pilot – Exterior and Interior

Various exterior colors are available for the 2016 Honda Pilot as follows; Black Forest Pearl, Dark Cherry Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, White Diamond Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Crystal Pearl, Steel Sapphire Metallic and Lunar Silver Metallic. The Chrome-accented front grille and redesigned aerodynamic enhances the elegance of the vehicle. The 2016 Honda Pilot is equipped with 20” aluminum-alloy wheels that make it take on corners easily and also enhance the attractiveness of the vehicle. The LED projector beam headlights integrated with high beam technology ensures every adventure is brighter no matter the weather conditions. The heated power folding side mirrors have been designed to endure the harshest of elements and at the same time fitting in the tightest parking spots. The 2016 Honda Pilot is fitted with rain-sensing windshield wipers that automatically activate in case the windshield gets wet or when it start to rain to help the driver concentrate on the road. The car dimension is 78.6-inches in width, 69.8-inches in height and 194.5-inch length and offering a wheelbase of 111-inch.

From the inside, the car can accommodate seven people. The seats and the steering wheel of the Honda Pilot 2016 are leather wrapped, and this adds a touch of sophistication. The driver seat is added to the comfort and available is the 10-way adjustable driver seat that provides lumbar support for the perfect sitting position on every adventure. The 2016 Honda Pilot is equipped with a tri-zone automatic climate control that allows the driver, the front passenger, and the second-row passengers to control their climate comfortably. The front seats and second-row seats are heated, and this ensures that the occupants are kept warm during chilly nights. Additional interior features include; Bluetooth connectivity, 200-watt stereo with seven speakers and a 5-inch LCD in the dashboard.

Safety Features

The new model of  Honda will received an overall safety rating of 5-star on Frontal, Side and Rollover crash test conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The safety features that have been installed include; Child safety locks, Traction control, 4-Wheel ABS, Electronic Stability control, Brake Assist, 4-Wheel Disc Brakes and Airbags.

2016 Honda Pilot – Engine Specs

The new Honda Pilot come with a 3.5 L Direct Injection, SOHC i-VTEC V6 engine that generates power of 280 hp and a torque of 262 lt-ft and it’s linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is available. The fuel economy ratings for the 2016 Honda Pilot are 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg while on the express highway.

2016 Honda Pilot – Release Dates and Price

The new Honda Pilot will be made available to the market in June 2016, and the prices for the different trim levels are as follows; $33,300 AND $38,500 for the EX and EX-L model respectively. The touring model price is set at $42,000, and the Elite trim is sold at 47,300
